Stephen P. Ashkin
President
Stephen Ashkin is well known throughout the professional cleaning, education, healthcare, and building-management industries as the "father of Green cleaning." He has played a pivotal role in setting industry standards, promoting environmentally preferable products, and advocating for socially responsible practices.
Ashkin is a 28-year veteran of the professional cleaning industry. He is President of The Ashkin Group, a consulting firm specializing in Greening the cleaning process, and Executive Director of the Green Cleaning Network - both based in Bloomington, Indiana. He is the coauthor of The Business of Green Cleaning and Green Cleaning for Dummies.
The Ashkin Group provides Green consulting services for building owners, product manufacturers, distributors and cleaning contractors, as well as advocates, environmentalists and policy makers.

David R. Holly
David is the President of Don't Panic Productions, Inc, a video and multi-media production company providing services to the maintenance industry. His 25 years of industry experience include: Vice President of a regional BSC, Director of Sales & Marketing for S.C. Johnson Professional, and Marketing Director for Multi-Clean.

Jeff Pease
Senior Project Manager
A graduate of Indiana University with an MBA in Business Analysis, Mr. Pease has over 20 years of experience in Sales & Marketing leadership roles.
In his current role with The Ashkin Group as Senior Project Manager, Jeff assists distributors, manufacturers and end-users adopt comprehensive approaches to selling, marketing and launching Green-Cleaning program that reduce negative environmental impacts while improving the health and well being of facility occupants and custodial workers.
While the core focus is on Green and Sustainability, the consulting approach examines and challenges customers to drive improvements in many areas of their business: vision, strategy development, business planning, end-user targeting, education and training, marketing communications, and much more. Ultimately, the end goal is to leverage the Ashkin Group expertise in order to increase sales and bottom line profit.
Prior to joining the Ashkin Group, Mr. Pease held the position of Corporate Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Brady Industries, a privately-held, 7 branch janitorial distributor based in Las Vegas, NV. With extensive experience in both manufacturer and wholesale distribution, Mr. Pease sat on Brady Industries leadership team and had direct responsibility and oversight of sales & marketing; and, actively participated in setting the company’s strategic direction to grow sales & profit with an emphasis on Green Solutions for the market place.
Additionally, Mr. Pease held the position of V.P. Marketing and Channel Development at Windsor Industries (which is now part of Karcher Floor Care, Inc.) where he oversaw corporate marketing and distribution strategies and programs – many of which thrive today.
Mr. Pease served as Vice President, National accounts at Affiliated Distributors (A-D) – North America’s leading marketing & buying group in the electrical industry. At A-D, Mr. Pease played a significant role in developing and implemented a National Account program that proved to be an industry leading solution for independent electrical distributors. This National Account solution was spun off as supplyFORCE.com, an MRO (maintenance, repair and operations) service company for Fortune 1000 companies.

Cynthia Schultz
Director of Sustainability Practices
Cynthia Schultz works with clients to help them measure progress toward becoming 'greener' and more sustainable. The Sustainability Dashboard Tool, now in development, will track economic, environmental and social equity indicators and provide management reports.
Schultz is a member of the Commission on Sustainability in Bloomington, Indiana and is heading up a committee that is preparing a Sustainability Assessment and Trends Report for 2009.
Formerly she was the Senior Director of Communication at the Indiana University Alumni Association; a designer of corporate on-line training courses at Option Six, Inc., and a business owner and managing partner of the Story Group, Inc..
Schultz received a master's degree in Instructional Systems and Technology from Indiana University’s School of Education in 2002.

Vince Elliott
Vincent F. Elliott is the founder and current President and CEO of Elliott Affiliates, Ltd. of Hunt Valley, (Baltimore), Maryland. He is widely recognized as the leading authority in the design and utilization of performance-based management techniques to establish continuous improvement systems for cleaning and facilities outsourcing. As one of the first to apply the concepts of performance based contracting in the Real Estate industry over 30 years ago, Vince has a broad experience and insight into - and understanding of - the buyer's view of what "clean" means, how it is used in performance-based measurement, and on-going management of cleaning.

Richard Ellis
Richard brings 33 years of experience in staff supervision,
training, environmental assessment, project management and LEED-EB project
documentation skills to The Ashkin Group. Richard is a registered environmental health specialist with the National
Environmental Health Association and a member of the American Society of Safety
Engineers.

Eric Hauck
Eric Hauck is the Director of Communications for The Ashkin Group. Before joining The Ashkin Group, Eric was Director of Marketing and Education at the Monroe County Solid Waste Management District and then served as an Associate Instructor at Indiana University while completing his master's degree in Journalism at IU-Bloomington.
