FOR ARCHITECTS
Building for Health and Sustainability
You already know that as an architect, you have a profound impact on the life cycle of the facilities you design. From traffic flow to airflow, from efficient use of space to providing a means for efficient maintenance, your design impacts the use, cleanability and sustainability of the indoor environment.
Staying current in the study of materials, chemicals, patterns of use, and methods of maintenance to enhance and protect the indoor environment is a full time profession - our full time profession. We can provide the information, training, and support you need to maximize the the positive impact of your designs.
The Ashkin Group is a member of the US Green Building Council, and has been involved with their efforts since 1994. For many years Steve Ashkin was the only member from the cleaning industry and has served a term as a director of the council.
The Ashkin Group regularly conducts High Performance Healthy Cleaning Workshops, focused on the impact cleaning has on the built environment, the relationship between building design and cleaning, and how cleaning choices can impact the efforts to meet LEED certification requirements. Please contact us for more information regarding these workshops.
